Getting your test results
If your test results are normal you should not expect to be contacted by the practice. On occasion a clinician may need to contact you to discuss if further action is necessary.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your SystmOnline account
- by phoning us on 01993 702911 and we will tell you what the results are
Confidentiality is extremely important both for patients and surgery staff. We do our utmost to maintain the highest possible standards of confidentiality. Patients aged 16 years and over should ring for their own results as we are unable to give them out to a third party.
Questions about your results
If you want to talk to someone about your results, use the Engage Consult service and someone will be in touch.
The results of tests ordered by hospital clinicians will go directly to that department. If you wish to know these results please contact the department directly.
We would kindly request that you do not ask our receptionists for print outs of your blood test results – this service is no longer available.
