Patient Comfort Fund
The Windrush Medical Practice patient comfort fund was set up many years ago to administer the generous gifts the practice receives from grateful patients and their loved ones.
Donations have helped us to provide a number of extras that are not routinely available from the National Health Service. These include:
- Hydraulic height adjustable couches
- 24 hour blood pressure monitors
- 24 hours electrocardiograms (to minor heart rhythm)
- Interactive website
- A defibrillator
- Dermatoscope and camera for taking pictures of suspected skin cancers
