Repeat Prescriptions via Pharmacy2U and Lloyds Direct

PLEASE READ Repeat Prescriptions via Pharmacy2U and Lloyds Direct

In line with other GP surgeries in the local area, we will no longer be taking medication requests via email from Pharmacy2U and LloydsDirect from 1st Jan 2025. You will still be able to have your medications delivered by these services, but we ask that you request your medication via the NHS App, Engage Consult, or by submitting a paper request in the practice. We have made this change to avoid requesting errors, medication wastage, and to streamline the process for our dispensary team.

To order through the NHS App:

–         Log on to NHS Online Services via the App or by the webpage https://www.nhsapp.service.nhs.uk/login

–         Select “Request repeat prescription”

–         Select which prescription you would like to receive

–         Select “Continue” then “Continue and Order Prescription”

–         Your prescription will then be sent to your pharmacy for collection or sent for delivery

To order through Engage Consult:

–         Visit Engage Consult https://engage.gp/sp/589/services

–         Select “Request a Repeat Prescription” and select “Start questionnaire”

–         Sign in to Engage Consult services by using your NHS login or choose “Continue as a guest”

–         Choose if this enquiry is for yourself or someone else

–         Fill in the personal details as requested

–         Type which medication you would like to receive in the “Medication needed” box. PLEASE NOTE: if you do not know the name of your medication, you may state the generic use (e.g., blood pressure medication, asthma inhaler)

–         Select if you would like to upload a file or photo and complete if needed

–         Enter your best contact telephone number

–         Select “Submit”

–         We will contact you regarding your prescription

To order a paper prescription:

–         Post a repeat prescription slip with your medication ticked to the Windrush Medical Practice or drop it off at our dispensary or letterbox outside (alternatively, write your required medication in a letter)

–         We will send a text to confirm when the GP has approved it (only if we have your consent to contact you)

–         If you collect your medication from the Windrush Medical Practice, please allow five days for your prescription to be processed
