Clinical Pharmacist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our forward thinking practice, working alongside our senior clinical pharmacist as part of our multi-disciplinary team.
Clinical pharmacists work in general practice to provide specialist expertise in medicines.
A patient facing role the pharmacist will be expected to clinically assess and treat patients using their expert knowledge of medicines for specific disease areas. They may be prescribers, or training to become one, and must work with and alongside the practice team, to proactively support the management of people with complex polypharmacy, especially the elderly, and those with multiple co-morbidities.
We are an established GP training and dispensing practice with a reputation for providing quality patient care.
Ideally you have a minimum of 1 years post qualification clinical experience, be able to prescribe and or have completed a clinical diploma or similar or be working towards these so as to provide specialist expertise in medicines use and optimisation in this patient facing role. Flexibility to work outside of core office hours if required.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Pharmacist wishing to join part of the Primary Care Team, under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme.

You may need to provide mentorship and support to less experienced members of the Pharmacist team, identifying the workforce that is required to provide services to meet the needs of the patient population, negotiating with the practice management team for this workforce.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong medical administrator to join the Windrush Medical Practice team as a GP Assistant in a small multi-skilled team. The GP Assistant team work closely with the GPs helping patients navigate the pathway through NHS services.
The role of GP Assistant will be to support the GP and wider clinical teams to ensure the smooth running of clinics by performing the complex administration tasks and patient liaison required for ongoing and exemplary patient care. GPAs work closely with a multidisciplinary team in coordinating all key activities including access to services, advice, and information. Ensuring heath and care planning is timely, efficient, and patient-centred.

Due to the continued growth of the practice, there is an exciting opportunity to join the Patient Services team, here at Windrush Medical Practice, Witney.
We are looking for someone who is able to remain cool under pressure and to multitask on a daily basis. This role includes dealing with incoming telephone enquiries in the call room as well as working on the reception desk.
We are looking for someone who is able to remain cool under pressure and we are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role; has a can-do attitude and is used to working with the general public. You will also be given some responsibility with specific administration work and will be expected to provide admin support to the wider team. There is a twelve-month probation period.
Absolute discretion is required in protecting patient confidentiality. The post-holder will be required to work flexibly and to offer extra hours to cover absences of other members of the team.
